Has anyone ever considered the idea of a moveable raised bed garden, similar to the chicken tractor concept? I'm thinking of a design that incorporates wheels and possibly a hydraulic lift for mobility. The goal would be to shift it around in a yard where space is limited after the growing season. I'm also thinking hardware cloth lining on the bottom could help promote soil microbe movement. I understand this could get quite heavy if not executed right, but I'd love to hear thoughts on the potential pros and cons of this idea! I'm located in the western mountains of North Carolina, about 20 minutes northwest of Asheville.

Moving plants around isn't typically recommended since they thrive in stable environments. If you do decide to go ahead, just be aware that relocating a heavy system like this could create two dead zones in your yard. Plus, if you're dealing with 7000 lbs of soil, you'll need some serious strength to shift that! Might want to rethink the weight aspect.
