I'm considering applying window tint to my older windows to cut down on heat. I've seen a lot of mirrored tint options on Amazon that catch my eye. Plus, my house has windows galore, making it feel a bit like a fishbowl without much privacy. However, I'm really concerned about whether this tint could pose a fire risk for my lawn, especially during dry spells when my grass tends to wither. Is this something I should genuinely worry about, or am I just overthinking it?

I've got mirrored tint on a few windows and haven’t had any fire issues. Though, we've got plenty of trees for shade, which helps. Have you considered going with a non-mirrored tint instead?
I think you're kind of stressing about things that might not be an issue. It’s probably better to tackle real problems as they come up rather than worry about something that might not happen.
Unless your mirrors are somehow concave, the sunlight hitting your grass won’t exceed what it naturally gets from the sun. If your grass isn't catching fire from regular sunlight, it shouldn't from the reflected light off the windows. But I get that you might still see some damage; it really depends on your setup.
