Hey everyone! I'm planning to create a wildlife pond in my garden, but I'm on a mission to avoid using plastic containers or liners. Does anyone have suggestions for containers or alternatives I could use instead? I have this large old galvanized water tank that's been sitting around, but I've read that they might contain heavy metals and could be harmful to the ecosystem. I really want to keep my home plastic-free, and I'd love to hear if the benefits of having a wildlife pond could outweigh the use of plastic liners. I also have two young kids (7 and 4), so any tips on making the pond safe or general advice for a nature pond would be greatly appreciated!
