I've heard that rainwater is better than tap water, but my outdoor space is really tiny, making it impractical to have a traditional water butt. I'm looking for clever ideas to collect rainwater without taking up too much room. Any suggestions?

Does your home have gutters? If so, those are a great place to tap into for rainwater! There are kits available that connect to downpipes. If you live in a shared building, just have a chat with your neighbors. I even thought about putting a liner under my deck to catch rain, but it got complicated with pumps, so I scrapped that plan.
If you can't swing a water butt, try putting out a few buckets in different spots! You could also look into getting a slimline water butt and just top it off. It'll take a while to fill, but it's better than nothing!
There are actually some cool, space-saving water butts designed for small areas. If those don't fit your setup, you might be out of luck for more traditional options. But honestly, they’re worth checking out!
