Deye Hybrid Inverter vs. Victron: Which Is Better for My Off-Grid Cabin?
Asked by g3kD!O9x
I'm in the process of setting up a solar system for my small off-grid cabin and I'm facing a choice between getting a Deye hybrid inverter or opting for Victron components. I'm considering a 6.6 kW solar PV system paired with a 10 kWh battery. My long-term plan includes possibly connecting to the grid later. Can anyone share insights on the advantages of either option?

I've noticed a lot of successful off-grid setups on YouTube using Victron, which influenced my choice to go with their products. They seem reliable and well-reviewed.

Overall, Victron is a strong contender in the market. Many users appreciate their quality and support. The Victron systems are modular, allowing you to expand your setup without needing to buy a whole new inverter. Just keep in mind you'll need extra breakers and wiring with a Victron setup, while Deye has most of that built-in.

I chose Victron for my setup too! One thing I love is their free remote dashboard—it’s super useful for monitoring the system without any extra fees. I’m not a fan of all-in-one products since they limit your options for future upgrades, but Victron's modular approach lets you mix and match as needed.
