Hey everyone! I'm in the process of getting solar panels with battery storage installed, and I could really use some advice. I'm currently comparing two systems: the Deye 8kW inverter paired with a 10.2kW Deye battery, and the Sigenergy 8kW Sigenstor inverter with an 8kW battery. The Deye setup is around 20% cheaper, which is tempting. Any feedback on these options would be greatly appreciated!

Before making a choice, it’s important to consider whether you’ll be off-grid or grid-tied. If you're going grid-connected like you mentioned, think about your goals. Is it just for energy savings? You should check the grid import/export prices and how they fit into your plan. It sounds like you're on the right track with charging your battery during off-peak hours and discharging it during peak times, but it’s worth analyzing the costs involved in both systems to see which truly saves you more in the long run.

That's good advice! I’d also recommend looking at the warranties and service options for both brands. Sometimes the long-term support can make a big difference.
