Hey everyone, I'm kind of freaking out here. I just got my first oscilloscope, the Siglent SDS814XHD, and it was a big investment for me at around $600. I've been using it without any issues all day, but then I stepped away for a moment to use the bathroom. When I came back, the readings were totally off, particularly on Channel 1.
I've tested the probes using a 5V power supply, and every channel shows 5V except Channel 1, which is reading just 3.5V. I've ensured that the probe is set to 10x, the channel settings are also on 10x, and I'm using DC coupling for all channels. I'm really hoping I didn't break it because it would be such a bummer. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried running the self-calibration from the menu settings? That might just do the trick for you!
When you say you were using it, are you sure you weren't just leaving it on? Sometimes if it’s on standby, things can get weird after a bit. But I'm glad you’re back on track now!

THAT WORKED, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!! I have no idea how this happened, but I’m glad I know this utility exists now!
