I recently planted some muscari bulbs from The Range directly into my small back garden. After doing some research online, I came across claims that muscari can be invasive. I'm a bit worried now—have I made a mistake? How bad is their invasiveness? Will they harm my other plants? I'm a newbie gardener and just want to make sure everything stays healthy!

Don't worry, they won't harm your other plants! Muscari can spread a bit, but it's pretty easy to control them. If they get too wild, you can always dig them up and move them. I've had mine for six years, and while they've spread a little, it's nothing drastic. I love having them!
You're good! The concern about invasiveness is often exaggerated. They spread naturally like crocuses or snowdrops, but they're beautiful year after year. Just remember, if they do get too much, you can always split the clumps and replant them elsewhere. I planted several mature ones a while back, and they haven’t taken over at all!
To be honest, you might want to consider moving them to pots instead. If you find any stray bulbs after they flower, you can lift those. They tend to look nicer when grouped together in one spot anyway. Plus, it's easier to manage them that way!
Thanks for the tip! I'll think about moving them to pots for more control.

Phew! That's such a relief! I just don't want them taking over. Thanks for the reassurance!
