I mixed my grout for the first time today and accidentally added too much water—370ml instead of the recommended 300ml for 1kg of grout powder. It felt a bit runny while I was applying it, but it wasn't totally unmanageable. Now I'm worried about whether I need to redo it or if it will hold up fine. The grout is behind my kitchen stove and will have a week to dry before we use the kitchen again. Any advice?

No need to worry, it should be fine. The extra water will just make it take longer to dry. Since you said it was still workable and didn't run down the wall, you're in good shape. Don't stress too much—DIY can be intense, but you'll feel great once it's all finished!
Totally with you on the stress! But once you see the finished tile job, it’ll all be worth it. You've got this!

After a bit of wiping, it actually looks decent for my first attempt! There are a few spots that might need some touch-ups later because of shrinkage, but I’ve read that's normal. I'm trying to calm down now, thanks for the reassurance!
