I accidentally left my soaker hose running for a whole day, and now I'm worried I might have drowned my tomatoes. They're planted in raised beds that are about 2 feet tall, but the surrounding ground is totally soaked. It's been really hot here, with temperatures in the 90s all week and that's set to continue tomorrow. Do my tomatoes stand a chance? They look okay right now, but I'm concerned!

They should be alright! Just hold off on watering them for a while and see how they bounce back.
If your raised bed has good drainage, you shouldn't have too much to worry about. The excess water will drain down into the soil beneath. I recommend adding some liquid fertilizer since all that water might have washed out some nutrients.

Thanks for the tip! What kind of fertilizer do you suggest I use and how much? This is my first year gardening, so I'm a bit clueless.
