I accidentally left my soaker hose running for 24 hours! My tomatoes are planted in raised beds that are about 2 feet tall. The area surrounding the beds is completely soaked, and we've been experiencing extreme heat, with temperatures in the 90s all week and continuing tomorrow. Do my tomatoes still have a chance? They seem okay at the moment.

If there’s nothing blocking the bottom of your raised bed, the water will drain down into the ground, so your tomatoes should recover. It might be a good idea to use some liquid fertilizer since the excess water might have washed away some nutrients.
They should be fine! Just give them some time before you water again. Let the soil dry out a bit.

Thanks for the tip! What type of fertilizer do you recommend, and how much should I use? I’m a first-time gardener and still figuring things out!
