I recently ordered 20 concrete tubes measuring 4' by 12" from Lowes. It seems like they cut most of the tubes down the length to stack them inside one another on a single pallet, which is kind of confusing. Are they really expecting me to tape up 3-4 feet of seams and fill them with 320 lbs of concrete?

I'd recommend sending those back. The tubes are already designed to nest for shipping, so them cutting them is just an extra hassle for you. That said, if you're in a pinch, you could tape the seams and wrap them with some heavy-duty wire every 6 inches, but I’d really push for replacements!
You should definitely ask them to send you the correct ones. This isn't right! If they wanted to cut down on space, they could've just sent tubes that were intact. You shouldn't have to deal with that kind of janky assembly for something you're buying!
Totally unacceptable! It’s like ordering 16' boards and getting 8' ones instead. If they cut the tubes, it's on them to fix it. I'd suggest reaching out to customer service and demanding the right tubes or a refund.
For sure! There’s no way they can justify that. A manager would see it your way without question.
