It honestly breaks my heart thinking about throwing away years of love and care for my collection. Before you go throwing everything out, have you thought about trying the method where you spray insecticide and then put each plant in a separate garbage bag? It raises the humidity and helps the insecticide work better. I saw someone mention this technique, and they managed to eliminate all their thrips in just a few days! It's worth considering before making a drastic decision.

Honestly, I think skipping the bagging might be the way to go. Just use the right insecticide properly, and you could save your plants without all that extra hassle.
