I recently planted some morning glory seeds around my mailbox, but to my surprise, something has already dug up the area. I'm curious if any wild animals actually eat morning glory seeds, or if it was just a nuisance critter. Should I be worried about needing to buy more seeds?

From my experience, it seems like animals around my place avoid morning glory seeds. They tend to leave them alone, so you might be okay!
Oh, watch out for birds! They love to munch on morning glory seeds, and they can scatter them all over the place. You might want to think about a different plant for your next round if you're worried about them.
Squirrels definitely love to dig around any freshly turned soil. Even when I haven’t planted anything, they still cause a ruckus. Maybe your little critter is just a playful squirrel messing around!
If your morning glory seeds don’t sprout, I recommend considering a clematis vine instead. It’s a much less invasive option and looks pretty nice too!
I actually thought about clematis, but I really wanted to try this unique morning glory variety I found. Just my luck with the critters!

Haha, it seems like squirrels are always up to no good! Thanks for the suggestion!
