I'm planning to replace about 300 feet of old fencing and have 35 posts to install. I'm wondering if I should invest in a cement mixer for setting the posts, or if there are better tools or tips to make this process easier. What do you guys recommend?

If you can afford it, consider renting an auger. It's much easier than digging by hand, and it helps you drive the posts in firmly instead of just digging holes. Plus, don't forget to call dig alert before you start digging!
Forget about the cement mixer. It’s simpler to just use Quickrete mixed with water right in the hole. Get a post hole digger or even an auger to make the holes; mixing in the hole works just fine!
You really don’t need a cement mixer. The fast-setting Quikrete from Home Depot is perfect. Just pour the dry mix into the hole, add some water, and it’ll set firm overnight. I'd also recommend renting an auger for digging the holes; it makes things way easier!

Good point about the auger! I’ll definitely call dig alert first.
