I'm considering getting a pair of Felco 2 secateurs and I'm wondering if I should also invest in their maintenance kit. What steps should I take to ensure they last for many years? Any tips on maintenance?

I got my Felco 2 and 8 from the official site and they seriously make pruning a breeze! I also bought the diamond sharpener as part of a bundle; it's super handy for keeping them sharp. I keep up with sharpening a couple of times a year using some YouTube tutorials. It’s really not that hard! Plus, I oil them with 3-in-one drip oil to keep them in good shape. Trust me, they’re fantastic and super sharp!
