I've got a leak with my outside hose that's coming from somewhere under the siding of my house. When I turn the hose on, water leaks underneath, along the base of the siding, and ends up in the rocks next to the house. We've turned off the water to the hose, and thankfully, there's no water coming inside. The hose pressure seemed normal before we noticed the problem. Since we're not the handiest people and this issue is hidden, should we call in a plumber or is there someone else we should reach out to? Thanks for any advice!

A skilled handyman might help with this, but honestly, finding a reliable one can be tough. Sometimes they charge as much as a plumber. Either way, it's important to not use the hose until it's fixed to avoid damage to your siding.
Absolutely, this is a job for a plumber. Since the leak's behind the siding and involves water lines, a plumber will be your best bet for a safe and proper fix. Stopping the water flow was a smart move!
If you're not comfortable dealing with it, I'd say it's definitely plumber time! They can handle hidden issues like this quickly and safely.
Just a thought—make sure the leak isn't at the hose bib itself. That's a common issue and could be an easy fix! Check out some YouTube videos so you know what's going on if you decide to call someone. Also, posting a picture could be helpful!

Good idea! I'll check the hose bib and see if that's the problem first.
