Do I Need a Transition When Tiling from Bedrooms to Hallway?

I'm planning to DIY ceramic floor tiling in my living room, kitchen, guest bathroom, and two bedrooms. The master bedroom and bathroom already have tile. I'm curious whether I need to add a transition at the hallway entrance from the bedrooms, or can I just continue the tile seamlessly into the hallway?

Make sure you've prepped your floors properly before laying the tile! That means pulling base trim and undercutting door casings and jambs. Are you planning to use an anti-fracture membrane to help with movement?

Yes, I’ve got all that done and prepped for the installation. Just trying to confirm the need for a transition.

Generally, you only need a transition if you're changing flooring types or if the floor levels don't match. Since you're using the same tile throughout, you can flow right into the hallway without any transition! Just keep it consistent and it should look great!

Thanks for clarifying that!
