Last year, I filled my garden beds with soil, and I'm wondering if it's necessary to add more soil for this growing season. Any thoughts or recommendations on what I should do?

I usually just throw some fertilizer in at the start of spring and occasionally add fish emulsion to my watering can. It really seems to help boost the nutrients without needing to add more soil.
You don't necessarily have to add more soil to your beds. Instead, consider supplementing with nutrients like compost or other soil additives. I lightly ‘winterized’ my beds by adding a layer of compost on top and then covering it with mulch. Just mix it in well, and you should be good to go!
