Hey everyone! I'm in the middle of a DIY project to replace my old toilet with a new one. When I removed the old toilet and cleaned off most of the wax, I noticed that my toilet flange doesn't look like the typical ones you see in the how-to videos. I'm wondering if I need to replace it or if I can work with what I have. Any thoughts? Thanks a lot!

It looks like you've got an offset toilet flange there. You can use a standard flange ring repair kit to install your new toilet, but keep in mind it's not the best option. If you're looking for a more permanent fix, you might want to have a plumber handle the flange replacement. Also, what issues prompted you to replace your toilet?
I wasn't having issues, just wanted to upgrade to a newer toilet for a bidet. I'll check out the repair kit, thanks! The screws seem to fit well with the old one, so it might be okay. I'm just concerned about some gaps at the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock positions—do you think the wax ring will seal that?
