After some severe storms, my gutters came loose from the house. I had a company come out for an inspection, and they insisted that I need to replace the whole system instead of just rehanging it. I'm looking for any advice or experiences from people who've dealt with this situation. Here's a link to a picture of the damage: https://imgur.com/a/ZIopUuQ

It sounds like the company might be right on this one. If the gutters are severely damaged or rusted, it might not be worth trying to salvage them. Plus, sometimes repairs can actually cost more than a full replacement because of the labor involved. Better to invest in a good replacement now than deal with future issues later!
I had a similar issue, and in my case, the guys I called told me it would be more cost-effective to just install new straps. But honestly, when I looked at the condition of my gutters, it felt like replacing them entirely was the right call. It can save a lot of headaches in the long run!
Totally agree! Sometimes putting a band-aid on it ends up costing more. If they’re damaged enough, it might be better to get a clean slate.

That's a good point! Are there specific signs I should look for to know if mine are really beyond repair?
