Do I Need to Repot My Pothos Again After Just One Day?

Hey everyone! I'm fairly new to taking care of plants and have recently added a few golden pothos and heart-shaped philodendron to my collection. Just yesterday, I repotted them using some regular inexpensive garden soil, but I came across some info about how crucial the right type of soil is for plant health. I've already ordered some proper potting soil, but now I'm wondering if I should stress my plants out even more by repotting again or if I should just leave them in their current setup. I'm really worried I might end up making them go all stringy! Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

Hey there! My pothos have always been in basic soil, and they're thriving. As long as you have a nursery pot with good drainage, I think you can hold off on repotting for a couple of years until you really need to. Just keep an eye on them!

That's reassuring to hear! Have your pothos ever reacted negatively to a soil change? I'm eager to spoil them with that new soil, but I hope I’m not overdoing it.
