Do I Need to Stick with the DeWalt Trimmer Head or Are Aftermarket Options Good?

Hey everyone! I recently broke the head on my DeWalt 60v 15" trimmer and I'm weighing my options. DeWalt replacement heads are priced around $50, while some cheaper aftermarket brands are about $20. I've seen mixed reviews—some say the cheaper ones are perfectly fine, while others warn they might not be compatible. What would you recommend?

I swapped out the stock head on my DeWalt FlexVolt with a Husqvarna T35, and honestly, it was a huge upgrade! Way better performance than the original.

I switched my 17" FlexVolt trimmer head to an Echo 400 Speed Feed, and it’s been great! Lots of folks recommend it, plus they have a compatibility chart online to check.

I also went for the Speed Feed! It’s definitely a step up from the DeWalt head.
