Do I Really Need a Poly Tunnel If I Already Have a Greenhouse?

Hey everyone! I have a nice big garden and I've been thinking about whether I should get a poly tunnel. I've never really considered it before, and while I already have a greenhouse, I'm not sure how beneficial a poly tunnel would be. Any insights on why I might want one, just in case my wife asks?

A poly tunnel can really extend your growing season! You can start outdoor crops earlier and maybe even fit in a second harvest. If you heat it during colder months, you'll find that crops are much better protected from things like hail and pesky birds, especially for soft fruits like strawberries.

Honestly, having a poly tunnel means you can cozy up with a chair in there during winter while enjoying the fresh air. Plus, it gives you an excuse to serve your wife cups of tea while she's basking in the warmth!
