Do You Ever Get Emotional at the End of the Gardening Season?

I've noticed that at the end of the growing season, I feel a bit sad when I have to pull up my dead annuals and frost-bitten tomatoes. Does anyone else experience this? They were my little babies, and I took care of them through the season. Does this feeling resonate with anyone? Or is it just me being overly sentimental?

I get a bit melancholic too when it’s time to put the garden to bed, but I try to focus on next year's plans! Winter gives you a chance to rethink what worked and how to improve, so it's more about personal growth for me than just plant growth. How about you?

Totally agree! Winter is a good time to recharge and think about what new stuff to try in the spring.
