Do You Name Your Plants Too?

I'm not allowed to keep pets in my apartment, so instead, I've turned to plants for companionship. After naming my plants, I can't help but feel like I'm losing my mind a bit. Is anyone else in the same boat?

I like to name my plants after loved ones or pets that have passed. It keeps their memory alive for me, which feels really special. My favorite is a plant I named after Dame Maggie Smith, called Maggie. Just a nice little tribute, you know?

That's so sweet, what a lovely way to honor them!

I love that! Naming them after people holds a lot of meaning.

I've named most of my plants because it helps me bond with them. From Karma Camellia to Sargent Strawberry and even Jack the coffee plants, I have a full house here! My favorite part is getting creative with puns and names that match their personality.

Those names are hilarious! I love naming them after their traits.

Sounds like a fun bunch! Your creativity really shows.

I totally get it! I have a desk full of plants, all named after antidepressants, except one I call Buckethead because she’s always a bit of a mess. It feels silly, but it's fun!

Haha, I can relate to Buckethead! Sometimes they're just hard to keep alive.

Sounds like my gardening struggles, too! Buckethead vibes for sure.
