I'm curious if others choose to grow flowers for their significant others rather than purchasing them from a florist. Do you prefer cutting flowers to bring indoors, or do you keep them planted in pots or the ground to maintain their longevity?

I've started planting roses for my wife now that we have our own place. It's a lovely way to show her I care, rather than just buying flowers. Plus, growing my own means I can pick them when they're ready!
My husband helps me take care of our flower garden, and he often surprises me with beautiful bouquets when I get home from work. It's honestly my favorite thing! We have small vases all around our house. The effort he puts into tending, cutting, and arranging them means so much more to me than a quick trip to the store.
