Does Chloramine in City Water Impact Mycorrhizae?

I'm curious if using city water (specifically in Richmond, Virginia) will harm or reduce the effectiveness of soluble mycorrhizae products like Bigfoot or Recharge. Should I be concerned about the chloramine in the water affecting the microbial life? Thanks for any insights!

Yes, chloramine can be a concern for mycorrhizae. It's a good idea to get a filter to remove it. A reverse osmosis (RO) system would be effective, but if you're planning on using rain barrels soon, you'll likely be okay without it!

Sounds good! I’m hoping the rain barrels will solve the issue for me.

I've been using regular tap water for years, and I haven't noticed any problems with chloramine affecting my mycorrhizae. It seems to be fine!
