Does Custom Glass for My Shower Tub Still Exist?

Hey everyone, I'm dealing with a bit of a bathroom conundrum. Our house hasn't been renovated since the late 80s, and I've noticed my sliding bathtub door is looking pretty grim. I want to switch it out, but here's the catch: there's about a 7-8 inch gap between the tub and the wall, and the tub has a glass panel at the end instead of just a sliding door. I was thinking about getting a short shower enclosure, but even the shortest ones I've found seem too tall for my setup. Is there even a solution for this, or am I looking for something that might not be available anymore? Any suggestions for alternatives would be appreciated without having to do a full tub or shower replacement!

You should definitely check out a local glass shop. They can custom-make the panel you need to fit your space perfectly. It's a good way to get exactly what you're looking for without worrying about off-the-shelf options that might not work.
