Does Garden Safe Take Root Rooting Hormone Actually Work?

I recently found this rooting hormone powder called "Garden Safe Take Root" and I'm curious if it's really effective or just a gimmick. I have some cuttings from sweet potato, basil, and dill, and I'd love to know if anyone here has tried it and seen results. What's your experience?

I actually used it on basil and sweet potato cuttings last year, and it worked pretty well! It's not magic, but it definitely boosted my success rate. Just don't overwater, and you'll do great.

Yeah, it definitely works! I've had good results using rooting hormones, including this one. Just keep an eye on watering, and you'll be fine.

I’ve heard that it can be effective, but you should be cautious about using it on edible plants. The main ingredient, IBA, isn't always recommended for edibles. Still, some gardeners swear by it for other plants.

I've used it on edibles without any issues, though. Just make sure to follow the instructions carefully!
