I'm planning to buy a DCD805 bare tool in the Netherlands and I'm contemplating whether to pair it with a 5.0Ah or a 1.7Ah Powerstack battery. Since I have relatively thin wrists and will only use it occasionally for drilling into brick or concrete for anchors, I'm really interested in the anti-kickback feature. I know it's available in the UK, but I'm unsure if all DCD805 models in mainland Europe come with it. I've seen listings showing different step configurations and can't find clear information on the anti-rotation E-CLUTCH feature either. Can anyone clarify this for me?

If you're curious, the DCD806 indicates "Perform Protect" on its rear cap, while the US version just mentions the brushless motor. So, the DCD805 in Europe should have something similar, but I recommend double-checking the details when you purchase.
Yes, the DCD805 in Europe includes the Perform and Protect functionality. When the DCD806 is released in North America, it'll be essentially the same as the European DCD805. So rest assured, you'll get that feature if you buy it in Europe!
Awesome! I'm glad to hear that. It sounds like the DCD805 will fit my needs perfectly.
