I'm planning for a big birthday celebration and I'm on the hunt for some decorative items for my garden that will last a long time. Ideally, I'd like something that's low-maintenance and has a modern or naturalistic vibe. I'm hoping to keep it around $200. A set of stylish stakes could work as well. I'm looking for something I'd still see in 40 years! I'm finding it tough to discover any good options online, so if anyone has suggestions, I would really appreciate it! Thanks in advance!

You’re not giving us much to go on, though! How about some pictures of your garden?
I’m a fan of planting obelisks with roses or clematis climbing them. Maybe a black metal design could be cool? Corten steel would also look nice if it fits your garden style.
Corten steel ornaments are a great choice! I bought a set of Corten stakes a few years ago, and they’ve developed this beautiful rusty patina and require almost no upkeep. They blend perfectly in natural-style gardens, too! I got mine at an estate sale, so you might want to keep an eye out for those.
You might want to check out an architectural salvage yard. I've found some really unique items there. Recently, I saw some cool cast stone sculptures priced from £20. There was this incredible 7ft tall pan statue priced at £1500 that was impressive, but quite a splurge!
Look for reconstituted stone bird baths on eBay and Etsy. They have some lovely pieces from stone masons that you can take with you when you move. Or if you're looking for something really fun, how about a hot tub? ☺️
How about a large stone obelisk? Those things are practically eternal! They won't change a bit over millions of years, though you might want to consider if it's in your budget. Moving it could be a hassle too, just a thought!
Sounds amazing, but I’m not sure if that'll fit into my budget. Plus, it might be tricky if I decide to move in the future.

It's a long cottage-style garden with several large shrubs and a patch of banana plants. The new item would go in a shady border, so it would be great if it really pops!
