Has anyone been so close to harvesting their crops only to see them die right before they could be picked? I grew some carrots last year, and unfortunately, most of them died except for one. That lone carrot developed a taproot but ended up dying before I could harvest it. It was such a letdown!

Same here! Last year, I lost 15 cucumber plants to frost. It hurts to watch so much effort go to waste! And just when I thought I had it all figured out, I looked out my back window and found a deer munching on my ripe tomato. It's a tough gig.
I can relate! We had this single peach that survived all the pests, and my wife and I were going to enjoy it. But by the next morning, something—probably a raccoon—had completely devoured it. So frustrating!
Oh man, totally! It’s a real heartbreaker when you finally see something growing and then it just falls apart. I’m more of a chaos gardener myself, so when I actually get to eat what I grow, it feels like a small miracle.

I swear, those critters have a radar for ripe veggies! Do you have any plans to retry growing them this year?
