My boyfriend and I recently added a nail gun, a sander, and a scroll saw to our collection, and we're eager to start building projects at home. I've already thought about making a bench and a birdhouse, but I want to explore more ideas. What are some beginner-friendly projects we can tackle?

The type of nail gun you have will affect your options, so keep that in mind. Scroll saws are awesome for crafting ornaments or fun trinkets! I used to make handmade ornaments for an exchange, like little snowmen and cozy fireplaces. You can also make 3D layered landscape silhouettes—those are pretty cool to create!
If your scroll saw is up to it, try your hand at scroll saw art! There are plenty of templates online, and they can be really fun to work on.
