I started off strong with 20 chili plants back in February, followed by 16 tomato plants in March, and I even sowed peas, sunflowers, and lettuce about a month ago. However, I went on holiday this week, and even though the forecast mentioned rain, I mistakenly assumed my plants would be fine without a friend to water them. I came back today to find that they've all died. It's really disappointing, and I have to make a costly trip to the nursery tomorrow. Has anyone experienced a significant gardening failure but turned it around with a success story? I'd love some uplifting tales to cheer me up!

Check out Facebook Marketplace! You might find someone nearby giving away seedlings or young plants as they’re running low on water; I just used up my last bit!

What a fantastic idea! I hadn't even thought of that!
