I moved into my new place about 10 months ago and have been dealing with a lot of drainage problems. One example of this is visible in this image: https://i.imgur.com/oNCtHFs.jpeg. I'm wondering if there's a budget-friendly, quick solution to improve the drainage without having to remove and redo the stones. Would using drainage extension tubing work well enough?

Extensions could help a bit, but keep in mind that if the water keeps running back to that low spot, it might not solve the problem completely. It looks like it might be necessary to remove the pavers, raise the base, and then put them back in place. You might also want to consider adding some dirt beside the house to create a drainage swale, which can help redirect water more effectively.
How complicated is it to redo the pavers if I've never tackled that before? Also, what exactly is a swale?
