Hey everyone! I'm a minor living in Texas and this is my first time trying to grow flowers. I've got five types of seeds: Snapdragons, Moonflowers, Marigolds, California Poppies, and Nasturtiums. I have six pots of different sizes, but only half of them have drainage holes. Specifically, I have two medium-sized plastic pots and a tall plastic one with drainage, and two tall plastic pots and a cute small ceramic one without. I'm looking for advice on whether I should soak the seeds, if I can use the pots without drainage, and which flowers can be planted together in the same pot. Any guidance would really help!

For your Snapdragons and California Poppies, just a heads up that it might be a bit too warm for them right now as they prefer cooler weather. It’s usually best to plant poppies in the fall and start Snapdragons around August or September to avoid any scorching. But don’t worry, you can still give it a shot if you're feeling adventurous! Just keep an eye on them.
It's true that pots without drainage holes are mainly for decoration. If I were you, I’d use one of your regular pots with holes and place it inside the decorative pot instead—this way, your flowers won’t drown.
