Gardening: Gloves or No Gloves? What’s Your Take?

Hey everyone! I'm curious about your gardening habits. Do you prefer wearing gardening gloves while working with plants, or do you go bare-handed? I've heard some horror stories about potential infections and issues from not wearing gloves, but I also see experienced gardeners, like Monty from GW, working without them. What do you all think?

I usually go for gloves, mainly to protect my skin and maintain hygiene. It's just safer, especially when dealing with thorny plants or heavy tools. Plus, I hate the feeling of grime under my nails after a session!

Honestly, I do a bit of both! I wear gloves when digging or handling anything rough, but I prefer going bare-handed for delicate tasks like planting small seedlings. It just feels more natural, you know?

Totally agree! I find I can manage tiny plants better without gloves.
