Hey everyone! I'm looking for the perfect birthday present for my dad, who is really passionate about his plants. He's a very practical guy, so I want to avoid anything that's just fancy and decorative. His pride and joy is a tall areca palm that's about 2 meters high, and he also has a fondness for orchids. Any suggestions for gifts that he would truly appreciate?

A gorgeous plant pot could also be a great choice! I personally have a ton of mismatched pots from yard sales, and receiving a nice one as a gift would make my day.
If you're leaning towards something practical, why not get him a nice set of gardening supplies? A big flower pot filled with different fertilizers or some orchid moss could be really useful. Maybe throw in a moss pole or some other support system he might like.
Consider gifting him a bonsai! It could spark a new hobby for him. You could also get a bonsai tool kit, which would come in handy for all his plants too.
How about a gift card to his favorite plant shop? That way he can pick out exactly what he wants for his gardening adventures!
