Hey everyone! I'm a new homeowner and I'm looking for some creative ideas on how to enhance this area of my yard. I've got some pavers laid out in the backyard and a part of the driveway, but I've recently removed some bushes. Now, the side of the house is just grass, which is where we place our garbage cans. It sounds like you're looking to install some sort of walkway, right? If you can, try to match the existing pavers you've got — that could really tie everything together!
A cost-effective option you might consider is using decomposed granite. I usually recommend building a pressure-treated box to keep it contained, which gives a nice finished look. Just pack it down really well, and if you add a binder, it creates a sturdy walking surface. It could be perfect for your area!
That's what I was thinking too! Just not sure how it would look with the slope.
