Graduating Soon: How to Get Ready for Grad Photos?

I'm about to graduate and we're having a grad photo session. I'm a bit unsure about what I should wear for the pictures, and if using baby powder will be enough to manage the oiliness on my face, especially with my acne scars. Any tips on preparing for this?

Congrats on your graduation! For your pics, it's really important to wear something that fits you well. A sharp button-up shirt usually does the trick. You could even throw on a tie for a classic look. Don't forget to get a haircut and wash your hair! Remember, these photos are as much for your family as they are for you. If you’re feeling adventurous, just wear what you normally wear and embrace your style! And if it’s a big shoot, definitely talk to the photographer for their input.

When it comes to your skin, consider using a mattifying lotion to help with the oiliness. You might want to look for skincare routines that include salicylic acid if you're dealing with acne. Also, don’t forget to wear something timeless along with something trendy to capture a bit of your personality! And remember to relax and be comfortable in what you choose. Good hygiene goes a long way too!

Ah, graduation pics! I remember my senior year having mine during spirit week and I wore a Star Trek uniform! Just be yourself, that's the most important thing. Don't stress too much about it.
