I've got a 50-year-old house in Canada, and I've noticed several hairline cracks in the foundation. Is it normal for a house this age, or should I be concerned? I'm particularly worried about the cracks shown in the third picture. You can see the images here: https://imgur.com/a/Mzs6iWy.

If the cracks don't line up from one side to the other, that could be a concern. Otherwise, it's par for the course with aging concrete. It wouldn't hurt to patch them up and stay vigilant.
Hairline cracks like those aren't unusual for a house that's 50 years old. Just keep an eye on them, and if they start moving or changing, you might want to investigate further. Otherwise, it's pretty normal wear and tear.
Concrete does crack over time, but don’t stress too much. If there’s rebar in the mix, it's designed to keep those cracks from getting worse. Just monitor the situation.
