I'm in Canada and I'm considering purchasing EVE cells directly from Docan for a sea shipment to my off-grid cabin. I'm particularly interested in the grade A EVE cells they're offering; they seem reasonably priced per kWh, even after taxes and duties. I'm planning to get the 5A active balancing system along with Wi-Fi capability instead of setting everything up myself. I'd love to hear any thoughts or experiences you all have with Docan. I'm thinking about starting with 15 kWh now and possibly expanding to 30 kWh later to support some appliances.

I bought 4 314AH EVE cells from Docan recently. The shipment took a bit of time, but they arrived in excellent condition and I had no problems with customs or duties. Overall, it was a smooth experience, and I’d definitely order from them again!
I can’t speak directly to your question, but I checked out Docan’s listing, and I'm curious about the difference between their standard and ‘EVE grade’ cells. Does anyone know what sets them apart?
From what I've read, the distinction usually comes down to the C-rate, like 0.5C vs. 1C for charge and discharge. Not sure if that applies here though!

Thanks for sharing your experience! That gives me a lot of confidence moving forward. If you’re cool with it, could you let me know what percentage you paid in duties/customs? No worries if you’d rather not!
