Has anyone ever used dissolved multivitamins to fertilize plants?

I over-fertilized and possibly harmed my plants earlier this year using a liquid fertilizer. Now, I'm hesitant to use that product again. I'm curious if anyone has tried dissolving a multivitamin in water to fertilize plants instead. Has anyone had any success with that?

If you're looking to boost your plants' vitamins, I'd recommend Superthrive instead of multivitamins. It’s specifically formulated for plants, so it might work better!

I've heard of Superthrive! I’ll check it out, thanks!

Using human multivitamins won't help plants much, since they need different nutrients than we do. Also, it sounds like you might have given your roses nutrients too soon when they were still dormant. Make sure to follow the fertilizer instructions closely next time! Oh, and if you’re considering organic options, I've found that things like cow manure pellets can be super effective and easy to use!

Thanks for the tips! I think I was a bit too eager with the fertilizer. I’ll look into organic options next time.

Before trying anything new, did you test your soil for pH and nutrient levels? Knowing what's going on down there can really help in figuring out the right approach.
