Has anyone successfully used the 10% Home Depot coupon on Milwaukee tools?

I've been hanging onto this 10% off coupon from Home Depot, and I thought it was finally time to use it on some Milwaukee tool deals. But when I entered the coupon at checkout, it reset the prices to full price, making some items go from $500 to $800 after applying the discount. This doesn't seem worth it! Has anyone else run into this issue or found a way to use the coupon successfully?

It’s tricky—some of these deals can’t stack. The 10% only works when you apply it to something that's on a regular sale, not during a BOGO or similar promo. It’s a bummer, but that’s how they set it up.

Yeah, they typically don’t allow combining discounts like that. If you go to the pro counter at your local Home Depot, they might help you out by combining the coupons. That's what I did last time!

HD are ripoffs. How can they justify charging $8.93 for a 2 x 4 x 10, but for the same type lumber in 2 x 4 x 8 it's only $3.95? It's over double for the extra 2 ft. it never used to be that way at HD, they went mad during the pandemic with their price gouging and have been doing it ever since. I have used these 10% off coupons a few times. Never any problem until today and i didn't catch it til I got home. No sale prices on anything, normal sheet siding and 2 x 4's, total $280 before tax. Yet the 10% off took off $12.93, less than 5%. No reason for it, and almost not worth it for me to go back and fight with them over 15 bucks, but I will next time I'm there.
