Has Anyone Tried Just Using Jack’s Succulent Soil without Mixing?

I've been hearing a lot about Jack's Succulent Soil, and I'm curious if anyone has had success using it on its own without mixing in any organic matter. Is it effective or do you really need to combine it with something else?

You can definitely use pure Jack's, but just keep in mind that without organic material, you'll need to water more often. It's recommended to bottom water for a bit longer since there's nothing to hold moisture in the soil. A lot of folks find it easier to add some organic soil to the mix instead, but it’s all about what works for you!

Just to add on, Jack's isn't exactly 100% inorganic. It has some chunky bits like bark, which can help a little with water retention. So, if you’re set on using only Jack's, keep an eye on your watering schedule!
