Hey everyone! I'm considering getting my kitchen installed by Lowe's and wanted to hear if anyone has gone through this process. What was the quality of the cabinetry like? How did you find the workmanship and the installation? And just out of curiosity, what was the overall cost?

I recently went through a kitchen remodel with Lowe’s, and the entire process was long, frustrating, and poorly managed. We started in mid-May and didn’t finish until late August. The design was flawed from the start, and the overall experience was a mess.
Your experience may vary, but I personally would not recommend Lowe’s—or Home Depot, for that matter. We originally walked away from Home Depot due to a poor experience with their designer too, only to end up having just as bad of one with Lowe’s.
If you're in a bind and relying on financing to get your kitchen done, just know that these big-box stores might get you there—but painfully so.
Honestly, I’d tread carefully with Lowe's. They tend to subcontract to some pretty questionable contractors. You might luck out with a great job, but if something goes wrong, good luck getting help. I've flipped a few homes, and I found that going through a specialized kitchen and bath store is just a tad pricier, but totally worth it for better service.

Thanks for the heads up!
