I'm really excited about selling bouquets made from the zinnias I grew last year! I've got a lot of space and seeds left over, and I'm considering whether to go for it and start a small bouquet business. With my main business being pretty demanding, I was thinking of keeping it casual. Maybe set up a subscription model where customers receive a fresh bouquet every couple of weeks, or even just a flower stand where people can pick up flowers whenever they want. The only thing I'm worried about is how to keep the flowers fresh in the heat and humidity. Have any of you done something similar? I'd love to hear your experiences or any tips you might have!

I know someone who sells flowers from a stand in her front yard and uses Venmo for payments. It's super low-key! You might want to try something similar, but just make sure to get some signs up for visibility!
That's a great idea! You might consider reaching out to local businesses or restaurants to see if they'd be interested in fresh, delivered bouquets for their tables! It's a win-win for both sides!
Omg that’s such a brilliant idea!! I’m within walking distance of so many cute businesses!
I don't sell flowers, but honestly, I totally get wanting to keep them for myself! It sounds too much like work, and I'm just too lazy for that haha! But I've seen people around here selling flowers and veggies from stands at the end of their driveways. Just put up a camera and a cash box! It's pretty straightforward.
In rural areas, folks often set up stands with all sorts of goods, including bouquets! Just leave some money in a can and hope for the best—everyone’s on camera for some security.

That’s what I was thinking! Does she sell to the public or just have it set up for customers she knows?
