Hey everyone! I've been coming across Temple Tools and am curious about their Japanese saws. Their prices are a bit on the higher side for Japanese tools, so I want to hear from anyone who's used them before I make a purchase. What do you think of their quality?

I don't have personal experience with Temple Tools, but I'd recommend looking into Gyokochu or Nakaya saws from Yamasuke instead. They're both excellent brands in the Japanese saw market!
I actually got some of their saws, and I noticed that the rip teeth on the ryoba and dozuki look a bit different compared to my Suizan and Gyokucho Fugaku saws. They seem to cut about 25% faster, which is great! Plus, you could use the blades with other handles if you want.
I'm a bit cautious about tools that are promoted by YouTubers, but the Temple Tools look decent. One thing to note is they have a Dozuki that actually functions as a rip saw, which isn’t common for Dozukis in the US. That could be a plus!
Yeah, it's rare to find a Dozuki like that! I've been looking for one that actually works for ripping. Might be worth checking out.
