Hey folks! I'm gearing up to build a garden enclosure with some raised beds, and I'm planning to use MCA pressure treated lumber for the frame and support. Initially, I thought about lining the inside of the beds with untreated cedar to keep it away from the treated wood, but I'm reconsidering since cedar really adds up in cost. I've heard about using stuff like weed barrier or plastic to line the PT lumber but I've got some doubts about that too. I'm looking for your opinions or any experiences you've had with this setup. Thanks!

I think using pressure treated lumber is perfectly fine! I found this resource from Oregon State that explains it well. It reassured me a lot. Check it out: extension.oregonstate.edu/gardening/soil-compost/pressure-treated-wood-raised-bed-construction-willamette-valley
I've used pressure treated wood with garden fabric lining for my beds for years and I've had no issues. I'm alive and my veggies are thriving, so I think it works!
Cool, thank you! Do you use any specific type of fabric? And how often do you need to replace it?
Thank you for the link, that is reassuring!
